Vinitaly Tour 2012

Vinitaly Tour 2012, opened May 2nd in NYC. amid clouds and drizzling rain.
The reknown wine tour did not disappoint the attendees at the Tribeca Rooftop.
The Tour debuted on March 24th in Verona, Italy, landed in Chicago April 30th.







It showcases one hundred of Italy's finest wines, with winemakers on hand. The prestigious international initiative originates from the collaboration between Wine Spectator, the world's leading authority on wine and Vinitaly, the largest wine and spirits fair in the world.

My particular favorite Red's were:
Centine Toscana 2009 ( every day wine $9-$11 Bottles 75cl ),
Belnevo Proprietor's Reserve ($28), Banfi- Brunello di Montalcino 2007 ( $65 ),
Poggio Alle Mura 2006 ($125), Casa Vinicola Sartori- Corte Bra 2006 ($35-$40),
Sartori Amarone 2008 (40-$45), Agricola San Felice -Reserva-Il Grigio 2008 ($24-$26),
