GREAT WINES of ITALY 2017 @ IAC New York

James Suckling's
Great Wines of Italy 2017 was a Bacchanalian delight.
Attendees, Wine Aficionados, Critics and Media were lavished
with some of the best wines on the market today, and now available
in New York City.

FONTANAFREDA CEO
Roberto Bruno with an exceptional Barolo,
SERRALUNGA D'ALBA 2012 92 Pts. Barolo Vigna La Rosa 2010 96 Pts.
The interesting propertyof this fine expression,
it is reminiscent of a Pinot Noir,in color and texture
but bolder and full bodied in taste.

Great Wines of Italy
IAC Building 555 18th street, NYC.

Jean with a very distinct Barolo 2012, by Paolo Contero
Barolo GINESTRA 2012 94 Pts.

The Barolo wines thus far were all super fine but
this excellent Bruno Giacosa Barbaresco, the Rabaja' 2013 99Pts.
Arienda Agricola FALLETTO di Bruno Giacosa
stuck in my mind as an amazingly delicious wine.

Great Wines need to be paired with great food and
James Suckling provided, a variety of Italian Cured Meats,
Fine cheeses, olives and breads. My favorite though was the
Risotto and Wild Mushrooms with Basil Truffle oil.

VALDICAVA  BRUNELO Di Montalcino 2007

of Plum, spices and flowers with velvety tannins. 98 Pts.
