PAMELA JORDEN @ KLAUS VON NICHTSSAGEND GALLERY

Building upon early modernist experiments with color,
form and paint applications, Pamela Jorden's new work
presents a distinctly contemporary and personal sensibility
that reflects her interest in the urban density and unrelenting
light of Los Angeles.

KLAUS VON NICHTSAGEN GALLERY 54 Ludlow street, NYC

Washes of color suggest Sun- bleached tones
of the southern California landscape. Jordan also
examines dimension with the use of idiosyncratic
shaped canvases.

Standing in front of Jordan's gestural washes of color
on raw bleached black linen, one experiences the movement
of light as seen through her prismatic and playful use of paint.

A great mixture of color and abstract form
