THE PULITZER PRIZE PHOTOGRAPHERS

The Pulitzer Prize Photography at Parsons School of Design
 Annually awarded for Journalism and Breaking News Photography.

The 2016 $10,000 Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography
was awarded to Jessica Rinaldi of The Boston Globe.

KEN HIRATSUKA "BALLS" @ INFINITO GALLERY

BALLS is a series of new stone sculptures by Ken Hiratsuka.
INFINITO GALLERY 79 Leonard street, NYC May 26 - June 2, 2016
Like planets on an intergalactic map, these elliptical forms 
transformed the gallery into a galaxy of Hiratsuka's 
One Line Universe.

In 1982 Ken Hiratsuka came to NYC after graduating from
Musashino University of Art in Tokyo. Hiratsuka embarked
on his life work of carving one continuous line in stone around
the world. Committed to art for everybody, Hiratsuka began sculpting
the slate and granite side walks of New York City, becoming a well-known
figure in the street Art Movement of the 80's.
