PORTOBELLO ROAD NO.171 LONDON DRY GIN

Move over Bombay and Beefeaters..
PORTOBELLO ROAD GIN has landed!
The launch event took place at the renown restaurant-bar
The Lion, No. 62 West 9th street, NYC.
www.thelionnyc.com

Portobello Road Gin was originally developed at the Ginstitute,
No. 171 Portobello Road, London, England.
Nestled on the top two floors of the Portobello star, a 19th century
public house on London's world famous Portobello road.
The Partners are veteran bartenders and restaurant owners,
Ged Feltham, Jake Burger, Tom Coates and Paul Lane.

The team traveled to Tuscany and beyond to source the best
ingredients that produce a superior drinking and mixable gin.
The bang-up combination of the nine botanicals is what sets
Portobello Road apart from others and what has sold it into
3,000 bars and restaurants in England. Available in stores in NYC
on April 20, 2015

Tyler and Tom Coates, Partner of Portobello Road Gin.

Jake Burger, Partner Portobello Road Gin

On the front of the palate Portobello Gin has a generous
slug of juniper, the mid palate has a sustained, fresh citrus
character from the use of lemon, bitter orange and coriander,
which then develops into a sweet peppery finish, which is achieved
by the use of licorice and nutmeg, while cassia bark, also called
super cinnamon, leads a sweet spice note that enables the drier
elements to shine through. Bottled in punchy 42% ABV these
combine to create a uniquely versatile gin.

Mixologist, Devon created amazing Negronis.
This spirit successfully stands on it's own and blends beautifully
with cocktails from bone-dry Martinis, the classic Gin and Tonic,
Negronis, to bespoke creations.
